Huaina inca is a half- Huaina inca insect from the Huaina inca family (Cercopidae). The scientific name of this species was first validly published in 1844 by Guérin-Méneville.

In South Central Europe, blood clots recruited from two genera Cercopis and Haematoloma with a total of five species. On the Balkan Peninsula, another genus of the bloodshot with the species Triecphorella geniculatus is added to Europe. Species of Cercopidae are native to almost all zoogeographischen regions. In the Palaearctic, the blood sclerosis with only twelve species are represented in the tropics, however, they are very rich in species, with not all species outside Central Europe have this black and red color.

Adorned with a distinctive black and red livery, red-and-black froghopper flits among plants in a diverse array of habitats, from lush meadows to verdant woodlands. As juveniles, they are less conspicuous, feeding on plant sap while encased in a frothy mass for protection. Adults, with their striking appearance, are often spotted on sunlit foliage, partaking in a diet of plant juices which they extract with specialized mouthparts.
