Larva
Larva stocky, usually yellow or green, body surface with many small black spots. 3rd- and higher-instar larva body area around the white oblique line on pleural body turns blue, caudal horn turns yellow.
Adult
Adult with a pair of white-tipped unciform antennae on the head. Protergum with clear skull-shaped patterns. Forewing pagina superior black, with a small white dot in the middle of wing. Hindwing yellow or yellowish-brown, wing exoloma with two black bands.

Compound eyes big. 2 pairs of scaly wings and 3 pairs of legs on thorax. Body and pagina interior yellow, black patterned.
