Male

Male adult, antennae black. Scaly wings black, wing exoloma with wide earthy yellow band, band black striped. Forewing apical angle with pink and orange regions, and a black eyespot.

Female

Female adult, antennae brown. Scaly wings reddish-brown, wing exoloma with wide earthy yellow band, band reddish-brown striped. Forewing apical angle with a black ocellate spot.

Larva

Higher-instar larva body green. Head capsule yellowish-green. Venter with 3 pairs of yellowish-green thoracic legs and 5 pairs of prolegs. Body surface with many small black dots. 2 pairs of red convexes on thorax, body rear end with a yellow protuberance.
