Male

Male, brighter-colored than female individuals, overall red. Compound eyes, pterostigmata, and longitudinal stripes on dorsal body all red. Pagina uniquely dark brown patterned.

Female, overall yellow. Pterostigma, pagina, and longitudinal stripes on dorsal body all yellow. Pagina uniquely black patterned.

Antenna setaceous. Compound eyes big. Thorax strong, with 2 pairs of wings and 3 pairs of legs attached to it. Abdomen slender and long. This species displays sexual dimorphism.
