Larva head capsule crimson. 3 pairs of black thoracic legs and 5 pairs of red prolegs attached to venter. Body surface fully setose in clusters.

Adult

Adult with a pair of black plumose antennae on the head. Siphoning-sucking mouthparts. Tergut black, blue metallic-lustrous. Wings black.

Ventral

Head orange. Compound eyes black. 3 pairs of legs attached to thorax. Body black, with a few metallic-blue scales.
