Male

Male, usually smaller than the female. Male overall black, abdomen with white and red spotted. 4 pairs of slender legs, interval yellow spots on legs.

Female

Female, 4 pairs of long slender black legs attached to cephalothorax. Abdomen big, round. Venter with a bright red hourglass-shaped pattern.
