Larva

Lower-instar larva body color darker. Head capsule black. 3 pairs black thoracic legs, 5 pairs of black prolegs. Body surface with small black acanthus and orange and white spots.

Adult

Adult has a pair of clavate antennae on the head. A pair of black compound eyes. Wings yellow, forewing upper edge black-spotted, exoloma black banded with yellow spots on the black band. Hindwing with swallowtail and an orange spot near anal angle.
