How to identify it?
Larva
The body color of the larva changes over time, from green to earthy yellow, then to orange, darkening gradually. Each somite of the larva body has blue verrucae, which are short spinous and pilose.
Adult
The adult insect is big, with plumose antennae and black compound eyes. Its body is densely hairy. Its wings are large and dark brown. The wing covers have eyespots, and the wing margins are light brown.
