Description

The Entylia genus comprises some of the most fascinating treehoppers in the insect world. Characterized by their unique, helmet-like pronotum which often mimics plant thorns, Entylia not only camouflages themselves from predators but also puzzles many observers about their actual appearance. This deception extends to a symbiotic relationship with ants where the treehoppers provide honeydew in exchange for protection.
