Description

Belonging to the family Heliodinidae, these small but fascinating moths are often overlooked for their inconspicuous size. Yet, they're bioindicators of ecological health and diversity. Many assume that all moths are drab and nocturnal, but Heliodinidae defies this stereotype with species that boast vibrant colors and are active during the day. This highlights not only the aesthetic diversity found within moth families but also challenges the common notion associating moths solely with nighttime.
