Description

Macroglossum, often mistaken for hummingbirds, is a fascinating genus of hawk moths. These moths are distinguished by their ability to hover in mid-air while they sip nectar from flowers using their long proboscises. They exhibit a rapid and highly aerodynamic form of flight, resembling that of their avian doppelg?ngers, which allows them to move agilely between flowers.
