Description

Contrary to the common belief that they pray before meals, this posture is actually a predatory stance used to ambush prey. Mantis have a fascinating rotational ability, allowing their heads to scan their surroundings almost 180 degrees 鈥?a feature unmatched in the insect kingdom. Their elongated bodies and striking front legs make them formidable hunters in their micro-worlds.
