Description

Deep within the leaf litter and moist soil of forests, the often overlooked Neanuridae thrive in their microhabitat. Contrary to the belief that all small, soil-dwelling creatures have negligible ecological roles, members of Neanuridae play a crucial part in the decomposition process, recycling vital nutrients back into the ecosystem. Despite their inconspicuous nature, these creatures are marvels of resilience and adaptation, tolerating extreme variations in humidity and temperature that few other soil dwellers can withstand.
