Description

The Nolidae family is known for the unusually rounded, enlarged structure on the front of some of its larvae, which visually resembles an unusually large head. However, the structure is not a head, and it is not a common feature of all moth larvae in the family. The appearance of different species in this family varies greatly, with both brightly colored and dull-colored moths. Not only are the adults colorful, their larvae are also colorful! Some larvae have very long hairs and Some have eye-like tumors.
