The members of the genus Phragmatobia are often referred to as tiger moths, showcasing vibrant and striking patterns on their wings. Contrary to popular belief, their vivid colors aren't just for display but serve as a warning to predators about their potential toxicity. This phenomenon, known as aposematism, is a clever survival strategy, warning predators of the unpleasant taste or harmful effects if consumed.
