Description

Prosapia comprises various species of spittlebugs, notable for their unique nymphal stage where they produce a frothy mass resembling spit on plants. This froth serves as a protective barrier against predators and environmental challenges. Contrary to what one might believe, this 'spit' isn't unsanitary or harmful but is a clever natural defense mechanism.
