Description

Despite their unassuming appearance, some members of the genus Sehirus exhibit remarkable parental behaviors rarely observed in the Insecta kingdom. Unique among many insects, female Sehirus demonstrate attentive care to their offspring, actively guarding their eggs and nymphs against predators. This level of parental investment is quite unusual in insects and challenges the common belief that insects are merely autonomous, robotic creatures.
