Description

Unlike their spider cousins, Tetranychus specialize as plant pests, infamous for their ability to spin fine webs on host plants, causing the infamous 'spider mite damage.' These minute creatures can be farmers' foes, significantly impacting agriculture by extracting cell contents from plants, which leads to the characteristic yellowing or bronzing of leaves.
