Description
Thrips are tiny insects with piercing and sucking mouthparts. They primarily harm plants but can also impact human health. Though not directly dangerous, thrips can bite, leading to mild irritation or redness. They are vectors for plant viruses, indirectly affecting agriculture and food supply. Furthermore, their excrement can damage indoor surfaces and trigger allergies, posing a nuisance to homeowners.
