Description

Though many fear their sting, it's worth noting that the venom of most Vaejovidae species is mild compared to other scorpions, primarily causing localized pain rather than severe systemic reactions. Fascinatingly, these creatures are masters of survival, thriving in some of the harshest environments. Their ability to fluoresce under ultraviolet light is not only a spectacle but serves probable biological functions such as attracting prey or providing camouflage.
