Description

Members of the Chortophaga genus are fascinating for their ability to blend seamlessly into their surroundings, a survival tactic known as cryptic coloration. Commonly mistaken for ordinary grass, these creatures are actually adept at avoiding predators by mimicking the color and texture of their habitat.
