Description
Contrary to popular belief, Cimex do not transmit diseases to humans, despite their notorious association with discomfort. These tiny creatures, often found surreptitiously nestled in bedding and furniture, feed exclusively on blood. Adapted for stealth, Cimex avoid detection by feeding at night and hiding during the day. This nocturnal lifestyle is complemented by anesthetics in their saliva, which allows them to feed unnoticed, making their presence eerily silent but deeply felt.
