Description
Cleridae exhibits a stunning palette of colors that rivals many better-known tropical birds and butterflies. Cleridae are not only visually striking but play a critical role in nature as predators of other beetle species that can be harmful to crops. A common misunderstanding is that all beetles are primarily plant-eaters. Cleridae, however, help control pest populations, thus benefiting agriculture without the need for chemical pesticides.
