Description
Mosquitoes are most active at dusk and dawn, but some will bite at any time of day. Temperate mosquitoes are active from spring to first frost, while tropical mosquitoes are active year-round. Mosquitoes lay their eggs in water, such as small pools in tires, flower pots, and tree holes. They can also congregate in favorable environments, resulting in many bites at once. Some species spread diseases like malaria, dengue, and filariasis.
