Description

Megacopta exhibits a curious mode of defense: when threatened, they emit a foul-smelling secretion to deter predators. Contrary to popular misconception, this secretion is neither toxic to humans nor stains fabric, though it is markedly unpleasant. This defense mechanism highlights their remarkable adaptation for survival, reflecting the sophisticated ways some 'nuisance' creatures protect themselves without using venom or physical aggression.
