Description
Fleas are small wingless insects that feed on the blood of animals and humans. However, some species are vectors of disease, most notably of bubonic plague and murine typhus. Fleas tend to bite at night while hosts are sleeping, and they are most active when the weather is warm. They move indoors when carried by animals and hide in carpet, bedding, furniture, and cracks on the floor. Inhabit:
