Description

The Tapinoma genus, often overlooked due to its small size, includes some of the most versatile ants in adaptation. Contrary to popular belief, not all ants in this genus are pests; many play essential roles in their ecosystems as scavengers and predators, helping to recycle nutrients. Their cooperative colony behavior, including forming intricate trails and bridges with their bodies, showcases an incredible level of social organization and collective problem-solving abilities.
