Description
Leptophyes are known for their distinctively long, slender antennae and a body that adeptly blends into their surroundings, making them masters of camouflage. These creatures are fascinating not only for their ability to elude predators but also for their peculiar mating calls, which are surprisingly loud considering their unassuming size. Contrary to what one might think, the vibrant sound does not come from their mouth but is produced by their hind legs.
